have the right marketing because without marketing nobody knows who you are or
what you sell and without that you're not making any money so I'm gonna help
you guys out by giving you some helpful tips now marketing and advertising are
sadly things that are not given enough emphasis on when you're trying to build
a business online everybody wants to create their own products and sell their
own products and do all that kind of stuff but nobody knows about your
product nobody even cares about your product unless you market it efficiently
successful entrepreneurs and business owners spend 80% of their time marketing
and only 20% of their time creating for a lot of us those numbers are reversed
we spend 80% of our time creating products making sure our website is
perfect why and going through courses and attending seminars we need to focus
on the marketing because if you don't market your stuff people are just not
gonna know who you are and all that hard work and all that effort that you put
into everything else is really gonna be for nothing so here are a couple things
to really help your marketing stand out one is that your marketing has to
involve change and it has to be clear on what kind of change your product or
service or even you is bringing to your potential customer and your client
people are always looking for change even though they might not admit it we
all are looking for change right we either want to be more wealthier or be
more healthier look better speak better you know travel more whatever it is
we're all looking for a change so it has to be clear in your marketing what it is
that you are helping somebody change people need to know what they're
investing in so if you're marketing on your facebook posts or your Instagram
page where your ads or your videos does not clearly depict what can change and
what can help people it's gonna kind of it's effect because it's gonna turn
people off people are worried about what your thing can do for them how can your
thing change them how can your thing make them better so make sure that's
clear in your marketing the second thing that you can do with your marketing is
you want your marketing to be new and you want it to be relevant so make sure
you're bringing new information to your customers and make sure you're bringing
new information to your audience keep it trendy keep it relevant you can use
trending topics or things that are going on and the zeitgeist to really help
market your products effectively because people love what's going on in current
events and also if you can stay up-to-date on your industry people are
going to really like that and it's gonna help you stand apart and become an
authority figure in your space so if you're into tech you know you should be
communicating to your audience the latest tech news or if you're into
travel or our destinations you know you should be updating your audience about
the latest travel tips and hacks that they can use that can help them get to
you know take their dream vacations to Bali whatever it is right so you want to
stay up-to-date you want to stay relevant and new and an easy way to do
this is to sign up for Google Trends if you literally go to Google Trends you
can type in a subject or a specific category and Google will actually email
you anytime any new update news article or feed about that particular topic
comes up so it's a great way to stay on top of your particular industry third
thing that you want to include in your marketing is be different why should
somebody buy from you versus buying from that other guy or a gal you got to make
sure that your marketing clearly indicates why you're different why your
product why your service can help them in that particular way and that has to
be clear in your marketing yeah you might know you're different for whatever
reason but other people especially your customers they can read your mind so you
have to make that clear in your marketing and really define to them what
makes you different what makes you better than so-and-so why should they
invest in you because people don't buy products people buy brands people buy
into you they're not gonna buy something just because they need it although
that's why they think they're buying they're buying it because the other
neither but also because of you so you want to make sure that in your marketing
you are clear about what makes you different from your competitors so an
easy exercise you can do right now is write down three traits that make you
different from other people that you're competing against in your field or just
other people that may be offering the same services or similar products as you
last but not least tip number four is you want to make sure your marketing is
functional your marketing needs to be tangible you know fluffy propaganda of
you can do it believe in yourself go for your dreams and stuff is that was so you
know 2012 all right like nowadays there's so much of that okay who cares
yeah I know I can do it so what your marketing needs to be tangible give
people something that they can work with now
either teach them something give them value in some kind of way so that after
they watch your marketing they can go and and do something they can go and
accomplish something even if it's just coming away with a little bit of insight
that's going to really help your marketing stick in their mind because
you're giving them tangible information that they can use to better their life
in whatever area that it is that you want to better their lives in the best
types of marketing are the best types of ads are pieces of content that teach
people something that let them walk away with something so make that your goal
for everything that you put out in your marketing whatever type of marketing it
is your goal and what you should ask yourself is what is my viewer gaining
from watching this marketing if you can answer that question you are creating a
powerful piece of content that's not gonna also help you build your brand and
make more sales but it's gonna help people become loyal fans of yours
because you start to become more authoritative in their minds so those
are my four tips to really help your marketing stand out and to help your
marketing build your brand effectively quick recap what you want to do is you
want your marketing to do four things make sure that it's clear on the change
you're bringing to your target audience make sure that it's new and that it's
relevant to keep people excited and keep people engaged make sure your marketing
is different and is specific on why it's different and how it's different and
also make sure your marketing is functional give people something that
they can walk away with that's tangible that they can use in order to answer
their question or to solve a problem that they're looking for it hope this
